Are
you just Pediatricians?
No. Our physicians completed two training programs. One in pediatrics, the second
in internal medicine, qualifying them to care for all ages.
Can
we meet with the physicians prior to the birth of our baby?
We would be happy to meet with you to discuss any questions that you may have
concerning the care of your child after birth.
We
would like our infant son to be circumcised. Do you perform this service? Yes we do. We can do this while the
child is still in the nursery at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Union County or
in our office as long as the child is less than 2 months old and weighs less than 12 pounds. However, many
insurances do not cover this service. Please contact our office regarding fees
you may be responsible for.
Do
you give Immunizations?
Yes. We must know at the time of your visit if your insurance covers immunizations
as part of your well child exam. If it does not, you may be eligible to participate
in the Vaccine for Children program.
Do
you provide care for children of any age?
Yes. The physicians are Board Certified in Pediatrics and complemented by a Family
Nurse Practitioner. IMPC offers well child exams, immunizations, comprehensive
asthma care and management of other medical problems unique to pediatric patients.
Same-day appointments and sick visits are available. The physicians admit
newborns and other pediatric patients to Baptist Memorial Hospital - Union
County.
